At Raba Kistner, Inc., we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Construction Materials Technician to join our team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our staff, you'll be responsible for conducting field or laboratory testing, sampling, and/or inspection services under general supervision.

The estimated annual salary for this role is around $80,000, considering the local cost of living and industry standards.

  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in both the field and laboratory.
  • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and project leads on construction sites to ensure smooth testing and inspection processes.
  • Conduct thorough source inspections at manufacturing facilities and implement quality control measures.
  • Safely handle and maintain nuclear gauges and field equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Lead teams of technicians as needed and provide guidance on testing procedures.
  • Regularly update supervisors and dispatchers on project progress and delays.
  • Submit accurate and detailed testing reports within a 24-hour timeframe.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent, preferably with relevant certifications like ACI Field Grade I or TxDOT Level 1A.
  • No less than five years of experience in materials testing and inspection, with a strong track record of quality work.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites, navigating rough terrain when necessary.
