Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Regency Care of Arlington. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and attractiveness of our facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, including dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting, polishing, emptying wastebaskets, cleaning, replenishing, and mopping
  • Assist in the evacuation of residents in case of an emergency
  • Practice dependable, regular attendance and work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
  • Implement programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the environmental services department
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs floor to waist, lift 10 lbs waist to shoulder, lift and carry 30 lbs, and push/pull 40 lbs
