We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Job Description:

The Medication Technician will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications accurately and safely. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing medication administration services to residents
  • Taking orders, documenting orders, ordering medications, receiving medications, and administering medications
  • Performing good nursing care procedures such as taking vital signs, giving enemas and suppositories
  • Ensuring universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures are followed to maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
  • Communicating effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and medication orders
  • Reporting any changes in resident status to the doctor, family, and administration promptly
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and Liberty Senior Living's Medication Administration course
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly or at least ten times per shift
