Coloplast Houston Distribution Center HR Generalist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Generalist to join our team at the Coloplast Houston Distribution Center. The successful candidate will provide onsite HR support and consultation, ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees.

About the Role

This is a fully onsite position that requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various HR-related tasks, including staffing, onboarding, benefit administration, payroll, workers compensation, employee engagement, and process improvement.

Main Responsibilities
  • Business Partnering: Actively visible on the floor and maintains an open-door policy for all employees.
  • Staffing: Manage open positions in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure organized recruiting process.
  • Onboarding: Execute Coloplast onboarding program to ensure standard onboarding plan.
  • Systems / Payroll: Accurately process HRIS entry transactions, run routine query and/or HR related ad hoc reports, and manage HRIS management and maintenance.
  • People Cycle: Support all activities related to the People cycle process to include training leaders/employees, communication plans, and manage project plan.
  • ER / Policies / Compliance: Partner with management to effectively enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance and performance expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field
  • 2+ years of HR business partnering / generalist experience
  • Bilingual Spanish/English
  • Proven track record of partnering at all levels within an organization
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Working knowledge of common human resources and payroll practices; Federal and State regulations
  • Strong detail orientation with a high degree of accuracy and sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to provide a high level of customer service
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to drive and influence change
  • Demonstrate a high degree of integrity and ability to work with confidential information with absolute discretion
  • Schedule flexibility - ability to work occasional evening/weekend
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
