Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our team at Dayton Superior. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the processing and payment of approved disbursements, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain procedures for accurate and timely payment of invoices
  • Match invoices electronically to purchase orders, receiving documents, and/or other established approvals for payment
  • Review invoices for proper coding to the General Ledger
  • Handle the A/P logging/approval process
  • Assist in auditing company expense reports
  • Main operator for company phone system
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, employees, and management
Requirements
  • High School Graduate
  • Practical experience, 2- or 4-year college degree in business related field desirable but not required
  • Possesses a high-level attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively present information to others
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others to obtain needed information
  • Able to locate, dissect and reassemble data in a timely manner
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
