Job Title: Acute Care Technician I - Inpatient Care Unit

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Acute Care Technician I to join our Inpatient Care Unit team at TriHealth. As an Acute Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Acute Care Technician I is responsible for providing basic patient care and support services to patients in the Inpatient Care Unit. This includes assisting with activities of daily living, performing non-invasive procedures, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to delivering excellent patient care and working collaboratively with our nursing staff to achieve our patient care goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic patient care and support services to patients in the Inpatient Care Unit, including assistance with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Perform non-invasive procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and preparing patients for exams and procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste.
  • Assist with patient transfers, including lifting, turning, and positioning patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
