EVS Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EVS Technician to join our team at Excela Health. As an EVS Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and employees.

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, public areas, and ancillary areas to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation.
• Collect and dispose of regulated and non-regulated waste, soiled linens, and materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Operate various cleaning equipment and machinery to ensure efficient and effective cleaning processes.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless operations and address any concerns or issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

This position requires the ability to work in a variety of environments, including patient rooms, public areas, and ancillary areas. The EVS Technician will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
