About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Health Associate to join our team at Acadia Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and support to patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, staff, and visitors by conducting regular safety checks and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Document patient information accurately and timely in their medical records, including progress notes and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in patient care or a related field; training in behavioral health or a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting, as well as ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
