Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Procurement Specialist is a vital contributor at Kansas Action for Children, responsible for supporting the Purchasing Manager in sourcing critical goods and services essential for our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to procure necessary items for daily operations.
2. Manage and reconcile daily reports, ensuring accurate data entry into procurement systems.
3. Organize and maintain comprehensive records for each item type, including reports and purchase orders.
4. Regularly review and verify incoming shipments against expected receipts.
5. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding order statuses and any discrepancies.
6. Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues related to purchase orders.
7. Update procurement databases with detailed descriptions, vendor information, and cost analysis.
8. Conduct research to evaluate potential products for procurement.
9. Analyze vendor quotes to identify the most advantageous purchasing options.
10. Provide support to team members in various procurement tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in MS Excel, with the ability to perform advanced functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
