As the Head of Event Sales Management, your primary responsibility will be to spearhead our event sales strategies. Key Responsibilities

1. Event Sales Strategy:

  • Formulate and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at achieving financial objectives and expanding our market presence in the events sector.
  • Assess market dynamics, competitor strategies, and client feedback to pinpoint growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with culinary leaders to create appealing and competitive event menus tailored to client preferences.
  • Promote all facets of events hosted by the company, including corporate functions and social events.

2. Client Relationship Development:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with current clients, ensuring their expectations are consistently surpassed.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities and establish connections with high-profile clients and event planners.

3. Leadership of Sales Team:

  • Inspire and guide the event sales team to meet both individual and collective sales goals.
  • Conduct performance assessments, provide constructive feedback, and offer ongoing training to enhance team capabilities.
  • Engage in collaborative meetings with internal teams and clients to ensure alignment and effective planning.

4. Tailored Event Solutions:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their unique event needs, customizing packages to exceed their expectations.
  • Coordinate with various departments to guarantee flawless execution of events.
  • Maintain accuracy in all event-related documentation, including proposals and contracts.

5. Negotiation and Contract Management:

  • Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure beneficial agreements.
  • Uphold company policies while ensuring a positive client experience.

6. Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and oversee the event sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for maximum return on investment.
  • Track financial performance and provide regular updates to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in event sales, preferably in a luxury setting.
  • Strong ability to achieve business objectives through effective team alignment and communication.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a talent for engaging high-profile clients.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
