About the Role

As a Surgical Care Specialist at CommonSpirit Health, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise and compassion will make a significant difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in the operating room, providing support and care to patients during procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for surgical patients, prioritizing their needs and comfort.
  • Ensure that operating rooms are properly prepared with all necessary equipment and supplies, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care, demonstrating a high level of compassion and empathy.
Requirements
  • Unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state of Arkansas.
  • At least 6 months of acute care experience, with a preference for previous surgery experience.
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
