We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, identifying and resolving defects, and improving our testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Understand Requirements: Analyze and understand the requirements of our products and services, and devise a test strategy to adequately cover the requirements.
  • Develop and Execute Test Cases: Develop high-level test scenarios that implement the test strategy, and elaborate scenarios into detailed test cases.
  • Effectively Troubleshoot Problems: Effectively troubleshoot problems reported both internally and by subscribers, and report clearly and accurately to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain Functional Test Cases: Add and maintain functional test cases in the regression test suite to ensure comprehensive coverage.
  • Enhance and Maintain Test Data: Enhance and maintain test data required for executing regression test suites, ensuring data integrity and relevance.
  • Evaluate, Document, and Test Software: Evaluate, document, and test software to verify functionality and performance according to specifications and requirements.
  • Design, Build, Execute, and Maintain Automated Testing Suites: Design, build, execute, and maintain automated testing suites and conduct analysis on data discrepancy and root causes in the testing results.
  • Maintain Subject Matter Expertise: Maintain subject matter expertise for the systems under test and use that expertise to create, maintain, and extend the test case library.
  • Engage with Project Team: Engage with the project team to understand requirements and contribute to project definition.
  • Assist in Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate and work effectively with PMs, CRSP developers, Business Analysts, QAs, and other stakeholders to strike the balance between ideal testing and available resources and establishing long-term quality targets.
  • Present to Superiors: Present effectively to superiors in areas of responsibility (ie. Test cases and test execution).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science preferred.
  • Quality Assurance Experience: At least 2 years of quality assurance or other relevant experience required.
  • Test Planning and Execution Experience: Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test data required.
  • Financial Research and Investment Concepts: Working knowledge of financial research and investment concepts and terminology preferred.
  • SQL and Statistical Software: Working knowledge of SQL required. Working knowledge of statistical software packages - SAS, Python, or other 3rd party software preferred.
  • Automated Testing Software: Experience with automated testing software preferred.
  • Shell Script Writing: Exposure to PowerShell scripts or other shell script writing preferred.
  • Version Control and Project Management Tools: Experience with GIT, JIRA, and XRay preferred.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Excellent interpersonal skills required.
  • Agile Software Development: Strong familiarity with the basic concepts of agile software development preferred.
  • Attention to Detail and Problem Solving Skills: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving and organizational skills required.
