Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Machinist / Precision Grinder Operator to join our team at RBC Bearings Incorporated. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating high-speed machinery to produce precision parts for the aerospace and defense industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate high-speed machining equipment to produce precision parts to customer specifications.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet specifications and standards.
  • Set up and operate machinery, including precision grinders and other equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with production team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; one year of experience in machining or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of precision machining techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an aerospace or defense manufacturing environment.
