We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Packaging Designer to join our team at Miller Staffing. As a Senior Packaging Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing compelling packaging solutions that inspire consumer purchase decisions through brand elements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and impactful retail packaging solutions that meet brand guidelines and consumer expectations.
- Develop and maintain packaging technical specifications to ensure compliance with changes and produce factory-ready, final print files for production.
- Collaborate with outside vendors and agencies to ensure seamless execution of packaging designs.
- Serve as a technical expert for all aspects of packaging design development, providing guidance and support to team members.
Requirements:
- 3+ years' experience in packaging design with a strong understanding of brand and graphic design principles.
- Expert understanding of all aspects of packaging components, including packaging structure, dieline creation, and preparing files for printer/vendor.
- Expert use of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Experience with 3D programs is a plus.
- Strong portfolio of design work showcasing ability to conceptualize, design, and execute current packaging.
- Flexibility to shift priorities in a fast-paced and highly demanding environment.
- Familiarity with licensing brands and following brand guidelines is a plus.
- Strong design, verbal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Embraces change, challenges, and makes recommendations for improvements to products and processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
