Certified Nursing Care Specialist

At CarDon & Associates, we are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Care Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be a licensed certified nursing assistant with experience providing high-quality care in a compassionate manner. This role involves delivering personalized services to residents, focusing on restorative care and activities that promote independence and optimal functioning.
We offer a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $72,000 per year, based on experience, which is above the estimated average salary for this position in the area.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to improve or maintain a resident's abilities according to their individualized plan of care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, elimination/toileting, mobility, transfer, eating, and communication.
- Record accurate and legible information about resident care, conditions, and observations in the clinical record.
- Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training and competency evaluation program or acceptable verification of this from State Nurse Assistant Registry.
- No finding in the Registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
- Prior experience giving personal care to impaired individuals in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- This role takes place in a climate-controlled and well-lighted environment with a smoke-free policy.
- Exposure to infections daily, but trained in handwashing practices, Universal Precautions, and the use of personal protective equipment to reduce risk.
