We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front Desk Agent to join our team at Journal Hotels. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience.

**Salary:** $25.00 per hour

**Job Summary:**

The Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in maintaining the high standards of customer service expected at Journal Hotels. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

  1. Check guests in and out, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  2. Manage cash and credit transactions, maintaining accurate records and adhering to hotel policies.
  3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and supervisors, promoting teamwork and effective communication.
  4. Perform daily tasks, including cash handling and close-out procedures.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
