We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Supervisor to join our team at our Albertville, AL Processing Facility.

Job Summary

This is a key role that will be responsible for the coordination, oversight, and implementation of all activities involving personnel practices, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Assist management with employee counseling, corrective actions, and terminations.
  • Conduct investigations into incidents and ensure that all necessary documentation is maintained.
  • Ensure that all personnel policies are up-to-date and communicated to management.
  • Manage personnel files and maintain accurate records.
  • Communicate benefit options and assist employees with benefits enrollment.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including status changes, address updates, and tax changes.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of human resources experience in a production environment, with food production experience preferred.
  • High standards of excellence required to maintain accurate and compliant HR and payroll-related records.
  • Experience conducting internal investigations and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and ability to learn software used by OK Foods (Infotronics timekeeping and Success Factors HRIS).
  • Ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with different levels within the organization.
  • High energy, highly motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired.
Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university desired, or one to two years related HR experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in E-Mail software, Success Factors, HR Utilities, timesheet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.

Other Qualifications

Highly organized and able to think systemically to structure work and design in a logical flow.

Self-motivated, organized, computer literate, attention to detail, and follow-through with exceptional writing and communication skills.
