Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Manage, establish, and communicate directions and priorities for the maintenance team, driving a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and implement maintenance and reliability initiatives focused on preventive and predictive maintenance, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency.
- Departmental Performance: Develop and maintain departmental KPIs and goals, monitoring for efficiencies, labor costs, and other departmental expenses.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Partner with cross-functional teams to manage, maintain, and establish maintenance procedures for production lines, ensuring demand targets are met and exceeded.
- Asset Management: Maintain manufacturing assets and facility, parts inventory, monitoring purchase orders, and invoice approvals.
- Training and Development: Provide training and continuous development to both direct and indirect team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Performance Management: Conduct periodic reviews for team performance and actively engage in team member development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Safety and Risk Management: Actively promote a culture of safety and risk management, identifying and mitigating hazards through Behavioral Based Safety Hazard identifications and risk assessments.
- Process Improvement: Establish and work with solid AC+R process (Asset Care and Reliability), driving continuous improvement and efficiency gains.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or business or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of maintenance management experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting, with a proven track record of success.
- Skills: Lean Six Sigma, continuous process improvement experience, computer skills equivalent to warehouse management systems, ERP/SAP experience, and MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage upwards of 100+ employees and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Language: Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Leadership and Management: Proven leadership skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development.
- Relationship Management: Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to implement process improvements and drive efficiency gains.
- Results-Oriented: Results-oriented with the ability to plan and deliver against production deadlines and goals.
- Resilience and Adaptability: Resilient, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure, with a strong ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
