Position Summary:
The Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position is focused on understanding customer needs, presenting suitable products, and facilitating sales through comprehensive product knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets.
- Uphold brand and operational standards, including visual merchandising and store cleanliness.
- Proactively address customer needs, ensuring satisfaction through the U.N.I.Q.L.O. service standards.
- Assist customers in fitting rooms and provide guidance as necessary.
- Perform cashier duties when required, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage inventory shipments and ensure merchandise is displayed appropriately.
- Collaborate with management to identify and resolve store-related issues.
- Educate customers about products and brand offerings.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, reporting any violations to management.
- Support special projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Proficient in basic math, including discounts and percentages.
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Adept at navigating the sales floor and stockroom, with the ability to perform repetitive movements.
Schedule Flexibility:
Must be available to work a flexible schedule that accommodates business needs, including evenings and weekends.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required, along with a minimum of 6 months of retail or related experience.
