Job Title: Psychiatric RN Specialist

Monadnock Family Services is seeking a skilled Psychiatric RN Specialist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing client-centered, recovery-oriented mental health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide management and administration of medication in conjunction with the psychiatrist.
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and assess physical health needs.
  • Make appropriate referrals to community physicians and provide a range of treatments, including psychosocial rehabilitation.
  • Support services to the ACT team and provide a high level of client care.
Requirements:
  • Master's, B.A., or associate degree in nursing (LNAs will be considered).
  • NH licensed as a registered nurse.
  • At least one year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting (preferred).
  • Strong commitment to the rights and ability of each person with severe and persistent mental illness to live in normal community residences.
  • Skills and competence to establish trusting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illness and respect for clients' rights and personal preferences in treatment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully in a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license in the state in which the team operates.
