In your role as the Clinical Nutrition Operations Manager, you will oversee the daily functions of clinical nutrition departments and ensure the delivery of medical nutrition therapy by qualified dietitians.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to organizational policies, regulatory standards, and manage human resource matters.

Contribute as a member of the management team to support strategic planning.

Implement clinical nutrition initiatives across the health system.

Ideal Candidate Profile:


Possesses extensive experience in nutrition management, including the training and supervision of clinical programs, setting objectives, and guiding dietitians.

Knowledge in Functional Medicine is preferred.

Must obtain the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP) Credential post-hire.

Exhibits strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities Include:


Managing human resources at various facilities to ensure effective allocation aligned with organizational goals.

Collaborating with facility leaders to maintain consistent clinical nutrition services.


Ensuring compliance with clinical nutrition practices as mandated by regulatory bodies.

Supervising staff, including registered dietitians and support personnel.

Responsible for recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.


Assessing workflow and staffing needs to optimize resources for patient care.

Supporting the professional development of team members and educational programs.

Facilitating resolution of departmental issues while ensuring policy adherence.

Participating in management committees and fiscal oversight.

Promoting available services and program enhancements.

Ensuring the integrity of medical nutrition therapy services.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field is required.

Certifications:


Completion of an accredited dietetic internship and current registration as a dietitian (RD).

Must hold a valid dietetics license in the State of Ohio.

Work Complexity:
Requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to challenges.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of clinical dietitian experience is required.

At least two years of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership capabilities.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to operate a computer and perform tasks requiring visual acuity; frequent sitting and walking; occasional lifting of light weights.


Personal Protective Equipment:
Adhere to safety protocols and utilize personal protective equipment as necessary.
