Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team at Flowers Foods, Inc. This role is responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery, ensuring the highest level of product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Respond to and correct equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing or replacing worn or defective parts as needed.
  • Operate machine shop equipment and make required parts when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervision, including fulfilling work schedules and adhering to attendance policies.
Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience as a Production Operator or Technician, or formal training or experience in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning, Welding, Electronics, Electrical repairs, Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.
  • Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Technology and/or equivalent formal training and work experience.
