About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Flowers Baking Company of Utah, LLC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks on plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Respond to and correct equipment stoppages and mechanical breakdowns, troubleshooting and repairing or replacing worn or defective parts as needed.
- Operate machine shop equipment and fabricate required parts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including adherence to attendance policies and operating rules.
Requirements
- One or more years of experience in a production or maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Formal training or experience in areas such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; welding; electronics; electrical repairs; industrial equipment installation, alignment, and start-up repairs.
- Associate degree in electronics/electrical technology or equivalent formal training and work experience.
