Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Scoping Engineer to join our team at Amentum. The successful candidate will be responsible for the project's construction design & projected schedule, expenses, and quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and enforce the Company safety program, ensuring daily jobsite safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist.
- Communicate any project changes to the client and work with the Project Manager and other Construction Managers on implementation.
- Ensure Company Safety program is in place with all staff and subcontractors and all safety incident or network outage reports are done in a timely manner.
- Install the quality program for the company and subcontractors work, making certain all quality standards are met to customer specifications.

Requirements

- 3+ Industry experience is required.
- Good understanding of engineering concepts required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
- Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications required.
- Engineering certification in related discipline preferred.
- Working knowledge of industry standard materials preferred.

Working Conditions

- Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there may be travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and work at heights.

What We Offer

- Competitive salary range for this position is $75,000 to $90,000 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.
- The successful candidate must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without visa sponsorship.
