**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Associate to join our team. As a Logistics Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and shipping processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
• **Logistics & Shipping**: Compile parts, products, and equipment for delivery, process mail in a timely manner, package and ship non-aviation parts and products, schedule movement and delivery of company assets, identify product storage issues, and maintain service records for Company fleet vehicles.
• **Procedures**: Adhere to processes and procedures, identify improvements to processes and procedures, and validate pricing charged on invoices against quotes and contracts.
• **Financial Responsibilities**: Protect and handle inventory items to minimize damage and loss, act in a manner that provides best use of company resources and reduces expense, and allocate time to reduce payroll expenses associated with overtime payroll.
• **Safety**: Ensure the safety and quality of all parts and services purchased, attend and actively participate in monthly Department Safety Meetings, and provide opportunities for continuous improvements as part of the safety team.
• **Personal Management**: Balance work duties, make best use of time, perform duties in a manner that does not misuse company assets or property, achieve personal goals established by reporting manager, and support the goals established for the department.
**Requirements**
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) at a minimum, intermediate preferred.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Supply Chain basics preferred.
