Student Records Specialist

The Student Records Analyst will be responsible for maintaining student records within the RPCC Workforce Division. This role will also assist with academic student record processing and be responsible for day-to-day communication, management, and official records of Workforce initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize online platforms and various technological resources to enhance admissions, record-keeping, registration processes, and student communication.
- Input data from forms, records, reports, and other sources into the Banner student information system.
- Maintain records and report on Workforce activities, encompassing programmatic and financial tasks.
- Support the collection, recording, maintenance, and reporting of student records in accordance with FERPA guidelines, including grades, registration data, transcripts, mid-term verification, and related audits.
- Aid in processing all student completions.
- Associate degree in a related field and 3 years of related experience or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the job.
- Must have at least one year of experience performing clerical tasks of routine difficulty, including preparing and maintaining records.
- Must be committed to staff diversity, learning, and development.
- A valid Louisiana Driver's License (some travel may be required)
- Proof of motor vehicle insurance
