AP/AR Specialist

Robert Half is partnering with a great company that is searching for an Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a great work culture The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working in an accounts receivable & accounts payable position.

Requirements:

• Generating timely and accurate customer invoices
• Maintaining accounts receivable records
• Verifying invoices for appropriate documentation
• Monitoring incoming payments, and ensuring they are applied correctly
• Assisting with month-end close accruals, working with other departments to resolve billing issues
• Reviewing invoices and processing in the system
• Maintaining invoice copies and approvals
• Resolving discrepancies
• Communicating with vendors regarding payment status
• Invoice requests, and inquiries as needed, and researching and resolving invoice discrepancies
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing solutions to streamline our financial operations

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in an accounts payable / receivable role
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. 
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
