Pipe Fabrication Job Summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a skilled Pipe Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a Pipe Fabrication Specialist, you will be responsible for fabricating pipe spools to custom lengths and semi-finished goods. This role requires the ability to select, measure, and cut materials to minimize product waste. You will also be responsible for operating machinery such as lathes, mills, and flares presses, as well as forklifts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate pipe spools to custom lengths and semi-finished goods
  • Select, measure, and cut materials to minimize product waste
  • Operate machinery such as lathes, mills, and flares presses, as well as forklifts
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment


Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in pipe fabrication or a related field
  • Knowledge of required equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work off hours, weekends, and OT on a short notice basis based on business needs


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree/Technical Degree/Certification
  • Experience with hydraulics
  • Military experience, especially as a Navy mechanic aboard a ship


Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 75lbs
  • Must be able to stand, kneel, and walk for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in abnormal operating conditions, including heat, cold, and clean room environments
