Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher Assistant to join our team at Fairview Health Services. This role is responsible for providing a total quality dining service program, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, and pans, and utensils to meet sanitation standards.
  • Assists with food preparation duties, such as preparing cold foods and shellfish, slicing meat, and brewing coffee or tea.
  • Performs cleaning, mopping, sweeping, garbage removal, and dusting kitchen and dining room areas.
  • Reports to the Cook or Culinary Director any equipment and supplies that are needed.

Requirements

  • Approved Food Sanitation Safety Course - must be acquired within first 90-days.
  • 1-3 years previous experience in a similar role, but not required.
  • High school diploma/GED.
