Job Overview:
The Offset Press Operator at Russell Tobin & Associates is tasked with the operation of advanced machinery to produce superior packaging solutions for both domestic and international markets. This role emphasizes a commitment to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) standards as well as quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and diagnose issues with offset printing machinery.
- Prepare and manage web or sheet-fed offset printing presses.
- Review job orders and implement necessary adjustments.
- Fill ink and dampening solution reservoirs.
- Modify press settings throughout production to ensure color accuracy.
- Supervise technicians involved in equipment maintenance.
- Ensure efficient setup and transition between jobs.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience operating offset printing equipment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and basic computer skills.
- Capability to lift over 60 lbs and work extended hours as required.
