We are seeking a highly skilled Lending Specialist to join our team at Skyla Credit Union. As a Lending Specialist, you will be responsible for processing member loan applications, growing the consumer loan portfolio, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process member loan applications and strive to grow the consumer loan portfolio.
  • Communicate loan decisions to members after application completion and decisioning.
  • Maintain knowledge of all lending and payment protection products and services.
  • Identify opportunities for protecting the loan when possible.
  • Qualify non-members for membership and open deposit accounts as needed by members.
  • Maintain knowledge of title and insurance laws in all states served by the credit union.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of Lending Experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of products.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high volume and work in a team environment.
  • Ability to multi-task.
