Salary Range: $48,000 - $51,000 per year

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Counselor to join our team at WestCare Foundation. As a Lead Counselor, you will be responsible for providing direct clinical and treatment supervision and training to counseling staff. You will also be responsible for conducting monthly quality assurance reviews, facilitating groups and family groups, and delivering individual and group counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train counseling staff to ensure high-quality treatment services
  • Conduct monthly quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with program standards
  • Facilitate groups and family groups to support client recovery
  • Deliver individual and group counseling services to clients
  • Develop and implement individual treatment plans for clients
  • Monitor and report on client progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services
Requirements
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. social work, psychology, counseling)
  • 2+ years of experience in substance abuse counseling or a related field
  • Clinical certification (e.g. CADC, LPC, LCSW)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
