Johnson Controls is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join our Power Electronics Department in New Freedom, PA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and maintaining power electronics products and systems for our chiller applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop power electronics products and systems for Johnson Controls' chiller applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with design specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications or major modifications of existing systems.
  • Travel to visit customers, Johnson Controls' factories, vendors, and/or professional conferences as business needs.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics.
  • Minimum 7+ years of industry experience in the field of power electronics or electrical engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. degree with focus in Power Electronics.
  • Strong experience on power electronics controls.
  • Strong experience on IGBT based inverters.
  • Strong experience on advanced tools such as Matlab/Simulink, OPAL-RT, Saber.
