We are seeking a skilled Neurology Specialist to join our team at the University of Vermont Health Network Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, Vermont.

The Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont offers a unique opportunity for physicians to practice General/Comprehensive Neurology in a community-based setting.

Job Summary:
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients with a range of neurologic conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, headaches, multiple sclerosis, movement disorders, and neuromuscular issues.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests such as EMG/Nerve conduction studies and standard and ambulatory EEG monitoring.
Responsibilities:

Primarily serve in an outpatient capacity, with shared responsibility for inpatient consultations. Note that acute stroke management decisions fall outside the neurologist's purview at CVMC.

Requirements:
  • American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligibility/certification.
  • Fellowship training in a clinical neurology discipline is desirable, though not mandatory.
  • A commitment to maintaining and elevating the standards of clinical care and education.
Estimated Salary:

$250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience.
