Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience. Bonus incentives are based on quality metrics, and we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including base salary plus annual quality incentive, OptumCare Physician Partnership Plan, 401k with match, Executive Savings Plan, and UHG Employee Stock Purchase Program.
Job Description
As a Primary Care Physician, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care. Our model focuses on providing efficient, comprehensive, and proven care techniques to treat the whole patient – physically, mentally, and socially – at each visit. You will typically see 14 to 16 patients per day, with a patient panel predominantly consisting of geriatrics with Medicare Advantage coverage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.), or M.B.B.S degree, board certification or eligibility in Family or Internal Medicine, an active, unrestricted medical license in Texas, and a valid DEA license. Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency is preferred.
