Job Summary

The Office Assistant position is a critical role within the North Sacramento Area office of the California Highway Patrol. As a key member of the team, you will provide administrative support to the Office Services Supervisor II and other staff members. Your primary responsibilities will include processing traffic collision reports, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service to the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process traffic collision reports using the Crash Manager database and Area Information System (AIS)
  • Enter information and assign numbers to reports
  • Handle mail, fax, and phone calls as necessary
  • Provide general clerical support to the team
  • Maintain accurate records and files
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be proficient in using personal computers and standard office equipment.
