Chef Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chef Instructor to join our team at The Chopping Block. As a Chef Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests through hands-on cooking classes and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging cooking classes and workshops that cater to diverse skill levels and interests
  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes that showcase your culinary expertise
  • Provide personalized instruction and feedback to guests to ensure they achieve their culinary goals
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of classes and events

Requirements:

  • At least four years of experience cooking in restaurants
  • Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • Physical stamina to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 pounds
