Position Overview

The Guest Relations Representative II plays a vital role in enhancing the visitor experience at Great Parks of Hamilton County. This part-time role involves various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, where you will serve as a welcoming presence for guests at our facilities.

In this position, you will primarily communicate with guests via phone to assist with reservations for picnic shelters, lodges, auditoriums, and banquet centers. Additionally, you will support online reservations for activities such as golf tee times and camping, while also managing a point-of-sale system. The role requires fundamental clerical skills, particularly in using a computerized reservation system and call center software. Employees are expected to perform regular duties independently, with guidance sought for any complex situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist guests entering the facility.
  • Address customer inquiries and manage various reservation requests, providing essential park information and fulfilling permit orders.
  • Utilize the Point of Sale system to process transactions, including receiving payments, issuing change, and balancing cash with receipts.
  • Ensure the Guest Relations office is clean and organized, performing tasks such as sweeping floors and emptying wastebaskets.
  • Prepare for shifts by counting the register, checking supplies, and ensuring readiness for operations.
  • Follow established procedures for closing, including setting alarms and adhering to cash handling protocols.
  • Conduct duties in alignment with Great Parks' policies and performance standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Adhere to the assigned schedule, demonstrating punctuality and flexibility as needed.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Proven ability to maintain positive public relations.
  • Previous experience in customer service is preferred.

All candidates must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility within three days of appointment, in compliance with relevant regulations.

Licensing Requirements

A valid State Motor Vehicle Operator's License that meets current carrier guidelines is necessary.
