Job Title: Construction Concrete Crew Foreman

Job Summary:

Ferguson Construction Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Concrete Crew Foreman to lead our concrete trade team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of workers involved in the construction of concrete structures, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and coordinate the activities of concrete trade workers, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Plan and schedule concrete construction activities, taking into account factors such as weather, materials, and labor availability.
  • Confer with supervisory personnel, engineers, and inspectors to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that workmanship meets specifications and that crew schedules are adhered to.
  • Direct subgrade work, mixing of concrete, and setting of forms.
  • Perform any basic forming activity and know all accessories to the forming system.
  • Responsible for proper materials and methods for patching and rubbing of walls.
  • Properly perform concrete flatwork preparation, forming, placement, curing, and saw cutting.
  • Responsible for all types of site concrete activities, including paving, sidewalks, curbs, footings, foundations, and retaining walls.
  • Know the use of advanced concrete construction materials, fasteners, and equipment.
  • Ability to layout footings, piers, walls, stairs, and sidewalks.
  • Responsible for proper use of all personal protective equipment for crew.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • 30 Hour OSHA card.
  • Rough terrain forklift certification.
  • Aerial Lift certification.
  • First Aid and CPR.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
