The RoleYou will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and research teams, to create user-centered designs.
We are building full-stack AI products that are trained to unlock collaborative capabilities that far exceed what could be achieved today; you will play a key role in defining our product interface and pioneering new capabilities in how enterprise workflow decisions can be automated at scale.
Responsibilities- Lead the design of our product features and end-to-end user experience, ensuring the product is intuitive, visually appealing, and functionally sets the bar in the industry.
- Work closely with our design partners to understand how Essential's product will integrate into their workflow.
- Imagine, design, iterate, and build beautiful UX patterns to rethink how companies and businesses will interact with data.
- 5+ years of professional experience designing for web-based, prosumer SaaS applications (e.g. Notion, Figma, Miro, Canva) and tools.
- Highly proficient in Figma.
- Demonstrated deep interest and/or prior exposure to design patterns for working with generative AI models.
- Experience in shipping 0→1 products and demonstrated ability to do rapid prototyping.
- Experience in building and maintaining design systems/component libraries from scratch.
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end design process, from brainstorming to prototyping and visual design to post-launch research and iteration.
