About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Northmarq, a leading commercial real estate capital markets resource. As a key member of our Property Marketing Team, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning marketing materials that drive business initiatives and support our sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Graphic Design: Develop high-quality illustrations, graphics, maps, and collateral that enhance business development materials and marketing collateral.
  • Create offering memorandums, flyers, brochures, sales packages, and direct mail to support team or department marketing efforts.
  • Design custom graphics using our company brand and utilize branding on our building for sale for custom property-specific marketing.
  • Provide design direction to external vendors.
  • Manage print and digital production through completion with outside vendors as appropriate.
  • Ensure quality control for all marketing deliverables (proofreading, style guide, production management, etc.).
Marketing and Business Development
  • Provide creative and strategic input to support marketing and business initiatives.
  • Collaborate to create property marketing campaigns and develop creative concepts.
  • Participate in team and business development brainstorming sessions.
  • Design graphics and images for email marketing and social media use to promote listings.
Relationship Management
  • Build and foster collaborative relationships with marketing, sales, and business development professionals.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing & Communications team on corporate initiatives and brand standards.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or Graphic Design or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work graphic design experience required. Experience in commercial real estate is a definite asset.
  • Strong proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to Adobe CC suite of programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver required) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt and prioritize, meeting deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Operates with a sense of urgency, is proactive, and takes initiative.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
  • Works well independently with an ability to work collaboratively with others, and strong client service skills.
