Job Title: NHCH Caregiver

Nuvance Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled NHCH Caregiver to join our team. As a NHCH Caregiver, you will provide essential care and support to clients in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care activities, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and dressing.
  • Support clients with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities, using devices such as canes, walkers, crutches, and lifts.
  • Prepare and serve meals, adhering to special diets and maintaining sanitary kitchen conditions.
  • Remind clients to self-administer medications and identify changes in client condition.
  • Provide basic homemaking and laundry assistance, maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Engage in activities of interest to clients, providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a nurse aide, home health aide, or patient care tech program, or a minimum of 5 years' experience working as an aide in home care.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English Language.
  • Willingness to travel 40 or more miles to cover shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
