We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver to join our team at Nuvance Health. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities of interest to the client.
- Assist with light pet care, such as walking a dog or feeding a cat.
- Transport clients to appointments and errands.
- Follow policy and procedure for assigned client care activities.
- Maintain a safe and orderly work environment in the clients' homes.
- Graduate of a nurse aide, home health aide, or patient care tech program or a minimum of 5 years' experience working as an aide in home care.
- Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Driving Record.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the English Language.
- Ability to travel 40 or more miles to cover shifts.
This role requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. You will be exposed to dirt, odor, noise, and human waste, and may exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
