Interprofessional Education Manager

We are in search of a qualified and enthusiastic individual to assume the role of Interprofessional Education Manager at our Philadelphia campus.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This part-time (20 hours/week) managerial role entails overseeing the administration of the Interprofessional Education (IPE) program across various academic disciplines at PCOM's Philadelphia campus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Organize and facilitate IPE meetings with the leadership team.
- Coordinate IPE meetings with student facilitators.
- Attend and document discussions during IPE meetings.
- Manage room bookings and assignments in collaboration with the Registrar and IPE groups.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of Blackboard sites for IPE sessions, ensuring all materials are updated as necessary.
- Arrange for catering services for multiple IPE events.
- Prepare and distribute handout materials for facilitators.
- Assist with communication regarding IPE session content.
- Confirm guest speakers for IPE sessions.
- Manage student registrations for IPE activities and simulations, ensuring balanced interprofessional group distributions.
- Maintain correspondence with faculty, facilitators, and student leaders as required.
- Oversee supply orders as needed.
- Collaborate with the CLAC office for IPE simulations.
- Align IPE schedules with Villanova nursing programs.
- Coordinate IPE initiatives with the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Develop comprehensive IPE schedules across programs.
- Assist with Institutional Review Board (IRB) preparations for upcoming studies.
- Support program evaluation, data analysis, and research dissemination efforts.
- Communicate with students involved in IPE sections as necessary.
- Organize end-of-year appreciation events for facilitators.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Experience:
A minimum of two years in an administrative capacity is preferred, with experience in higher education being advantageous.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to effectively engage with faculty, staff, and students. A strong commitment to student service is essential, along with the capability to manage communications professionally and courteously. The candidate should possess the ability to work autonomously, exhibit a strong sense of ownership, and respond promptly to the needs of students, faculty, and staff. Initiative and problem-solving skills are crucial, as is the ability to present program information clearly. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills are required, along with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Effective business writing skills are necessary, and creative writing abilities for marketing content are a plus.
The salary range referenced is based on PCOM's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training, and skill level.
