About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior Designer to join our team at Steven Ray Construction Inc. As a key member of our design-build firm, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional design solutions for our high-end residential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Development: Collaborate with clients to understand their design vision and preferences, and develop comprehensive design solutions that meet their needs.
  • Project Management: Oversee all stages of assigned projects, from preliminary design to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Client Communication: Foster strong relationships with clients through regular meetings, updates, and open communication, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our design, construction, and project management teams to bring design concepts to life.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of demonstrated design experience with diverse project sizes and client bases.
  • Proficiency in Chief Architect, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software.
  • Strong creative vision coupled with a practical understanding of construction.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a client-focused approach, capable of managing conflicts between decision-makers, aligning client desires with budget constraints, and maintaining client enthusiasm about the final outcome.
  • Experience in a Design/Build environment is an advantage.
  • A four-year degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
