About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced LPN Nursing Supervisor to join our team at Ridgewood Center in Bedford, NH. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for leading and guiding the clinical operations of our nursing units, ensuring the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage to provide safe nursing care for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Participate in the interview process for nursing vacancies and assess the performance of existing employees.
  • Identify educational needs of the staff and communicate needs to the Nurse Practice Educator so they can be addressed.
  • Ensure patient care assignments are consistent with staff competencies, scope of practice and the needs of the patients.
  • Support the Director of Nursing in employing a strong Quality Improvement process for the nursing department.
Qualifications
  • Must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
  • Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
  • Must maintain current BLS/CPR certification (All SNFs and Behavioral Centers; ALFs/ILFs as required by State).
