Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with clients in a professional and friendly manner, promptly addressing any service-related concerns.
- Communicate transparently with clients about the features and benefits of various banking products and services offered by Apple Bank.
- Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of branch management, ensuring smooth operations.
- Exercise sound judgment in approving or overriding financial transactions to mitigate risks.
- Facilitate the training and development of new team members, ensuring adherence to customer service standards and compliance with banking regulations.
- Guide staff in resolving complex customer issues effectively.
- Collaborate with internal partners to address and resolve client issues, ensuring favorable outcomes for both the bank and its customers.
- Manage the opening and closing of the banking office in accordance with established protocols.
- Identify opportunities to expand banking relationships by engaging in meaningful conversations with clients and prospects.
- Assist in the management of vault, safe, and ATM operations, ensuring a well-organized customer area.
- Communicate essential disclosures and regulations to customers during account openings.
- Maintain accurate records for new accounts and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and security policies to safeguard client and bank assets.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in retail banking, particularly in teller and customer service roles.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience in banking is preferred.
- Understanding of banking operations, including risk management and compliance, is advantageous.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in various branch functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries effectively.
- Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
