Caregiver Lead Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver Lead to join our team at Always Best Care - Pierce County and Thurston County. As a Caregiver Lead, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with personal care needs, including hygiene and dressing
  • Support mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks
  • Remind clients of medication schedules
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with errands and shopping
  • Participate in on-call schedules
  • Train and onboard new caregivers
  • Conduct quality assurance visits
  • Report changes in client conditions to the Care Manager
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role
  • First aid and CPR certification preferred
  • Ability to lead and educate others
  • Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
  • Ability to adhere to health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • Compassionate, respectful, and ethical
