About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Speech Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing clinical services and communication with patients, families, and other professionals/service providers in the medical community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and ensure seamless communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills in pediatric patients.
  • Conduct videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing to diagnose and treat swallowing disorders.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Hearing-Language Association or be in the process of completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) with supervision by a CCC-SLP in accordance with standards defined by the ASHA.
  • Licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist in the State of Washington or holding an interim permit.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • Previous experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
