Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technician to join our team at Firestone Complete Auto Care. As a Senior Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex automotive issues, while also mentoring and leading a team of technicians to achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a minimum of 3 years of experience and a valid automobile driver's license. A.S.E. certification in at least 3 (three) of A1-A8 is required, and new hires will have up to 2 years of employment to comply. We offer a competitive pay range of $28.61, as well as a performance-based compensation model that rewards our skilled professionals with a predetermined amount for each eligible task.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex automotive issues to specifications.
  • Brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
  • Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
  • Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
  • Maintain Federal, State and Local certification/license where applicable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
